The case study was based on Dice 13, the first sneakers and streetwear marketplace in Israel.
As a sneakerhead and streetwear fashion enthusiast myself, I was super excited about this platform.

In my opinion, the app had some major UX issues that did not cover even the most obvious use cases.

It is important for me to point out that the work was done just for self-study.

I have focused more on system design and have presented only a solution for one serious use case that has been negatively affected by the current system.

My goal was to redesign the site and provide a solution for the current use case that was not covered by the existing platform.

THE PROBLEM

According to what I saw, "Dice 13" tried to design their website in the same way that the international site "Stock X" does.

"Stock X" is an international platform with millions of users buying and selling shoes on a regular basis.

The problem was that the "Dice 13" team didn't realize that "Stock X" works with a supply that matches the demand, while Israeli "Dice 13" doesn't have the same supply.

Since "Dice 13" doesn't have filtering options and most shoes don't have sizes,

THE SOLUTION

The problem can be solved by creating a search engine with complex sorting and filtering systems that show the buyer exactly what he is looking for at the moment.

As well as providing a convenient information architecture that won't confuse the buyer. This will make him feel in control and secure from the minute he enters the site until the moment he purchases an item.

I have categorized sneakers, streetwear, accessories and collectibles. In each of these categories, the user can filter products by size, brands, and condition.
